Legacy Loyal Garner Awards Banquet

     The Loyal Garner Award of Excellence was presented to the Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame during the 2007 annual Legacy Awards banquet held on March 21st at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel Manarch Room, by auntie Alesha Smith, representing the Loyal Garner family.  Kimo Stone, HMHoF president, gratefully accepted this hightly esteemed award on behalf of the Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame.  The Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame Serenaders featuring Ku'uipo Kumukahi then performed a song and remained on stage, musically supporting the vocal stylings of auntie Nina Keali'iwahamana and auntie Karen Keawehawai'i..
