"Ka `Eha Ke Aloha" (also "Ka `Eha A Ke Aloha") is the beautiful song the new Miss Aloha Hula used for her auana performance at the 2006 Merrie Monarch Festival. The only recording I've discovered is on Sean Na`auao's CD of the same title. Can anyone help me any other information on the song: composer? composition date? lyrics & translation? Mahalo Auntie Maria for finally helping me to identify the song . . . now I'm on a quest for the rest of the info! Don (aka dr. cookie) |

It was composed by Frank Kawaikapuokalani Hewett. As far as I know Sean's was the first recording of the song. I have a copy of the CD but not handy. I believe the lyrics and translations are on the CD liners. |

Thanks for the lead . . . I appreciate it! I've always admired Hewett as a dancer and after recently stumbling upon a few of his songs I'm also very impressed with his work as a songwriter. |
