Did you still need these lyrics? I have a version that I received from the Polynesian Cultural Center.

Kahi mea i aloha 'ia la (The on that is beloved)
Kahi kai a'o Mamala (Is the sea of Mamala)
Malama hewa ana 'oe la (For you are very secretive)
Ka ukana a ke aloa (about the burden of love)

Ua pono no kau hana la (You are doing right)
A he kini lehulehu 'oe (For you are represented by man)
Pehea la ka noho 'ana la (Where have you been staying)
I ka 'olu o Halaulani (In the shelter of Halaulani)

A he lani nui 'oe na'u la (I have affection for the waters)
I kahi wai a'o Kewalo (For the waters of Kewalo)
Euwalo aku ana au la (I send an echoing call)
A he'ole ka maliu mai (but no one pays any heed)

Ua pono no kau hana la (Your deeds are good)
Pukonakona nui 'oe (you are very strong)
Pakele aku i ka lima la (To slip away)
No Kamoha'i he inoa (For Kamoha'i is the name)

At the end of this song, kahea says "He inoa no Kaholomoku."
That means, "this is the song for Kalakaua", doesn't it?

I don't quite understand why you say so.
Is there any story about King Kalakaua and Mamala?
