I don't seem to be able to find the lyrics to "Tomi Tomi" as recorded by Sol Hoopi. Here's what I do have:

the lyrics and many others can be found at mele.com. no english translation however. there are also quite a few other tahitian, and even samoan meles there, without english translation.

The David Nape version of the song Na Hala O Naue is called Tomi Tomi. The lyrics to both songs are identical except the ending lines to the verses are different. ie Na Hala O Naue .....ea,ea in Nape's version tomi, tomi is substituted.

I have a recording of tomi tomi by the Polynesians from 1960 or so.My dad was Lani Sang steel player in the group.Very interested knowing any other groups who recorded that song.
