| I don't seem to be able to find the lyrics to "Tomi Tomi" as recorded by Sol Hoopi. | the lyrics and many others can be found at mele.com. no english translation however. there are also quite a few other tahitian, and even samoan meles there, without english translation. |

The David Nape version of the song Na Hala O Naue is called Tomi Tomi. The lyrics to both songs are identical except the ending lines to the verses are different. ie Na Hala O Naue .....ea,ea in Nape's version tomi, tomi is substituted. |

I have a recording of tomi tomi by the Polynesians from 1960 or so.My dad was Lani Sang steel player in the group.Very interested knowing any other groups who recorded that song. Mahalo, Mahi Sang |
