| Hello: There was a song played during swimsuit portion of the 1998 Miss Universe Pageant in Hawaii. I think it was called "Island Child". It went something like this : Island Child, burning bright For everyone... Island fire, heat and light... (something, something, something) I can humm the tune a lot better than I can remember the song! Please help. |

Hi Rob, I haven't found anything about this song. It must have been written specifically for the 1998 Miss Universe Pageant swimsuit competition. I can't figure out some of the lyrics -- but I know that some of them are Hawaiian lyrics.
