Aloha: I am looking for the original composer of this beatiful song. I know it has been done by various artists but don't know who owns the rights to it. Mahalo. |

I checked the liner notes of several of the CDs which include this song -- and those which give composer credits (not all do, unfortunately), list the song as "traditional". No composer name given. |

I happened to notice that in our Catholic hymnal at Mass this morning, the hymn "Song to the Body of Christ" had an attribution: "No Ke Ano Ahi Ahi"-tradiditionl Hawaiian melody. This probably doesn't help much, except to verify that it is likely of Hawaiian origin. |
