Kuulei Clark is best remembered as a hula teacher that taught hula on O'ahu in the Aiea area spanning through 'Ewa for many, many years. She taught thousands of hula students in her career. In the 1950s, John K. Almeida composed a song for her, "Kuulei Pua Nani," and it was recorded on Tropical Records by Pua McComber (who would later be Pua Rogers). Appearing on that recording will be Pua's twin sister, Pahukoa Morse, Benny Rogers (later would be Pua's husband) and Jackie Flores. 49th State will acquire the Tropical Records catalog later.
