My father, Dick "Red" Rogan, was a merchant marine and a ukulele player from Maui that sat in with many Hawaiian artists of the WWII and post-war era in Hawaii and California. He died in the late 60s, before I got to know him.
I wonder if anyone remembered him or got to see him play. I don't think there were any recordings made, but I'd like to find out who he may have played with and where.
