| Welina me ke aloha, I am enjoying the recently released CD by the Lim Family, " Na Mele No Na Hanauna." "Sweet Ka Makani, Ke Kaiaulu" from the William Hook Collection is one of the mele offered in this wonderful CD. The hui; Wai o ka niu, wai o ka niu Niu haohao, niu haohao Ua hiki mai, aia i ka poli O Manokalanipo I have searched my limited personal references and resources and have not found any info on William Hook, nor have I found any poetic reference to "Water of the coconut..." Does anyone have info on William Hook and or the reference to "Wai o ka niu..."? me ke mahalo nui, e Keali'i |
