| well, we say: pa'ina aina...that is the name of a true hawaiian luau...nowadays we say the party itself is a luau, but i still prefer paina aina. how to say eat:mea ai, to say drink:mea inu: to say party: luau or pa'ina. to say eat, drink and be merry: that would be like this: Ka inu, ka mea ai, nui ke haou'oli, or the loose translation: the eat, the drink, big the happy. hjope this helps.
