| Does anyone know the lyrics to this one song. I think it is called Aloha Friday. The only part I remember is... Its aloha Friday, no more work till Monday.... anyway if you could help me out that would be nice. |

| Hi, I am from Hawaii and now live in Arizona, I keep singing this song to my workmates and only get till "No work till Monday". They don't believe that it really is a song. Can anyone help??? |

I first heard it on St. Louis radio station, a Hollywoood reporter, Mike ??? sang it on TGIF. I thought he made it up BUT then last month I heard my nephew in St. Paul sing it. He is MGR of Arbie's and they have Aloha Fridays once a month. So it is a world wide phenomena, huh Go figure! |

I lived on Maui for 5 years and on the Valley Isle, Aloha Friday is the real deal! Especially if there is a swell in and the surf is up. Pau hana as soon as can on Friday, meet all friends and family at your favorite beach park for all day food, drink, story, fishing and surf and carry on thru the weekend. My kids even gave me a tee shirt that Coca Cola made of bunch of for promotion that say, "It's Aloha Friday" on the front and "No work till Monday" on the back. Live Aloha! |

One of my colleagues used to live in Hawaii for several years. A few weeks ago when I mentioned to him that several of us in the office used to have "Hawaiian Shirt" Fridays, and that I thought we should start doing it again, he said, "Oh Yeah! Aloha Fridays! I think we should do it!" And a few weeks ago was our first Aloha Friday of the summer. This morning (Thursday) I mentioned to him that although it isn't Friday yet, that song is bouncing around my cranium this morning and I can't get rid of it!!! VIVA ALOHA FRIDAYS!!! |
