Have been searching for any professional recordings by the Keanaaina brothers of Kona, Hawaii: William (Bill) Keanaaina John Keanaaina Abraham Keanaaina Samuel keanaaina Any information would be greatly appreciated wether as a solo individual or in a group with other musicians. Samuel Keanaaina is well and still playing his steel guitar. They have been in music groups with the likes of Led and Ned Kaapana, Don Kualii, Cyrus Green, George Kahumoku, Sam kanae, Eli Ku, many others I can't think of. Played and Promoted Hawaiian music throughout the world sponsored by Pan Am, United, Aloha, and Hawaiian Airlines. Entertained at the old Kona Inn Hula show under the guidance and direction of Lokalia and Timothy Montgomery who were curators of the Hulihee palace. Mahalo nui |
