I heard Dennis Pavao for the first time by accident listening to a Hawaiian Music station on my cable program. I immediately fell in love with his voice and songs and bought all of his cd's. Is there anyone who can think of another falsetto singer who matches up with Dennis since his passing. I believe he is the absolute best but I am willing to try others. His singing style is very addicting. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks PS I am looking for the lyrics of Wahine O Tahiti and I will send them along when I get them. I believe I have them all. |

Can you help me to find a falsetto singer that can compare to Dennis Pavao (male or female). I am terribly addicted to his style of singing and since his passing there are no more cd's left more me to buy as I have them all. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Murray |

Hawai`i is blessed with many, many falsetto singers -- mostly male. Each of them has their own distinctive style...here are just a few of the solo artists: Mahi Beamer Kimo Alama Keaulana Ata Damasco Ledward Kaapana O'Brian Eselu Cody Pueo Pata Hoku Zuttermeister Nick Castillo Tony Conjugacion George Helm Uluwehi Guerrero Kindy Sproat And there are falsetto groups, too: Hui `Ohana Na Palapalai Ho`opi`i Brothers |
