If you have or know someone who is willing to send me a few pictures of Eddie Bush it would be a great thrill. He was my first guitar instructor when he lived in Seal Beach, CA.

Thank you

Aloha Renee:

I was researching information on the Hawaiian Doxology when I came upon this website. I just want to share with you the pleasure of meeting Eddie Bush (my ohana) at the Ukulele Festival in Hayward, CA. Your dad did a wonderful job, inspiring up and coming ukulele artist both beginning and professional.

I volunteer each year to support the festival with sound and stage. My condolences to you and the family!

God Bless,

Manley

Subject: Early musical career of Eddie Bush

My father, Beau Lee, and Eddie Bush performed in the Everett Hoagland Band together in the mid to late 1930's when Eddie was a young man and my father was in his late 30's and 40's. Both my father and mother were very fond of him and his wife. They told me stories about those days on the road with the band. I remember seeing Eddie on TV in Los Angeles when I was 10-13 years old (I'm 69 now). He was playing the steel guitar with a Hawiian musical style band led by a man named Harry Owens. I also remember that Hilo Hatti was a regular with the
band also.
Regards,
Beau Lee, Jr.
