For any information on steel guitar happenings in The Netherlands, your best contact is Gerald A. Venema, Wijkerstaatweg 272, En Velsen Noord, 1951.
His phone is 251-22-85-97. Their Hawaiian music foundation has 350 members and growing; they have an annual "Promotionday" at Easter. Certainly someone in that crowd can give you info on the Kilama Hawaiians, and may have recordings available.

THE KILIMA HAWAIIANS TOURED GERMANY IN THE 1950'S AND AFTERWARD MOVED BACK TO THE NETHERLANDS.THEIR STEEL GUITAR PLAYER WAS THEO EHRLICHER WHO LEFT THE BAND IN 1958 AND WAS FOLLOWED LATER BY RUDI WAIRATA.I HAVE LIVED FOR 13 YEARS IN THE HAWAIIAN ISLANDS (1955-1968)AND HAVE HEARD MANY SYEEL GUITAR PLAYERS,BUT THEO EHRLICHER WAS ONE OF THE BEST.HE DIED JULY 11 '07 ATTHE AGE OF 91.
