Aloha kakou,

Ninau au.
Just like "Ha'ina mai ka puana", I see a lot of Hawaiian song have following phrase 'Auhea wale ana 'oe'. Does anybody know why?

Literal translation is "where are you?" but I just found out some are

translated differently such as "This is to you"

Does this expression mean something beyond where are you?
