Definition Of "Maile"

My very young daughter-in-law passed away within the past month. In looking at a genealogy site, I noted that when she got married, she gave her name as "__ ___ Maile..." What does Maile mean? I would be so appreciative if you could help me. gayle |

Aloha Gayle, I'm not sure if you already received the definition, but go ahead and visit http://wehewehe.org. Once you're there, in the white box on the left, type in "maile" and it'll give you the meanings. This is a great resource for any definition you may need in Hawaiian.
