I have a music book called "Kings Book of Hawaiian Melogies". It was originally copyrighted in 1915 and copyright transferred to Charles E. King in 1917. This book has notes, music and words to the songs. Would anyone be interested in this book? |

I think every edition that came out has a different set of songs in it. The main difference was when the color switch from Blue to Green, but I was looking in two different editions of the Blue book and found different songs in each one (some of the songs were repeated though). When was the very first edition published? Thanks! |

My mother has a Blue Book 7th Edition of King's Book of Hawaniian Meolidies. It also says it is an Illustrated Souvenir Collection. There is a picture on the cover and is blue in color. There is a picture of I believe to be King in the lower right hand corner. Can anyone give me any further information on this book. ==================== |

There is a nice reissue of King's published by Centerbrook. It is available at www.elderly.com Search the title King's Book of Hawaiian Melodies. It comes with a CD which is computer generated piano to give you an idea of the way the tunes go. The CD is so souless that it is next to useless. The book is wonderful and has nice illustrations. | there is another book, the Queens songbook, written by her royal majesty queen liliuokalani. it is readily available as is the Kings songbook, his royal majesty king kalakauas compilations look at ordering both from borders mahalo punohu |

Have rare 1942 King's Songs of Hawaii. Hawaiian music publishing was devastated by WWII. Green/beige cover, complete,good condition. |
